About the role
- You’ll lead a team of Parent Partners—mentors with lived experience—to support families referred by the Iowa Department of Human Services through the Children & Families of Iowa statewide program.
- Recruit, develop, and retain Parent Partners
- Lead and manage teams to ensure program goals and contractual guidelines are met
- Oversee weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly responsibilities for program success
- Ensure monthly clinical collaboration meetings for Parent Partners to address clinical issues and improve service quality
- Drive within assigned counties and collaborate with team members to maintain smooth program operations
- Submit timely and accurate reports to keep the program running effectively
Requirements
- A strong foundation in Child Welfare.
- You have an Associate degree and at least 4 years of full-time experience in Child Welfare services.
- A commitment to grow as a leader.
- Excellent writing skills are required.
- Experience writing court reports or testifying in court is a bonus (but not mandatory).
- You have access to high-speed internet to complete some job responsibilities.
- You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
