About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build external partnerships with recognized community and academic medical center KOLs to identify and address scientific needs and to stay abreast of current scientific trends in assigned Therapeutic Area.
  • Cultivate existing and identify new collaborative KOL relationships for advisory boards, company-sponsored, investigator-initiated research, and speaker development
  • Represent Chiesi Global Rare Diseases Medical Affairs at national, regional, and local scientific meetings
  • Deliver high-caliber medical education presentations in a variety of settings
  • Participate in internal therapeutic advisory groups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of a graduate level degree (PharmD., M.D., D.O., DNP, PhD, MSN, MS or equivalent healthcare professional degree) long with relevant clinical experience
  • Post-graduate residency training along with 1-2 years MSL or clinical experience relevant to the Therapeutic Area assigned to the prospective candidate (exception for PhD candidates with requisite experience)
  • Demonstration of scientific and clinical expertise in assigned therapeutic area, including exceptional clinical, pharmacoeconomic and real-world evidence knowledge and business acumen
  • Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication skills: Highly articulate and persuasive during formal and informal presentations; able to convey complex, scientific ideas fluently to any audience
  • Adept at confidently stating expert opinion while respecting the positions of others - can exert diplomacy while standing firmly on evidence-based positions and maintain credibility
