About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build external partnerships with recognized community and academic medical center KOLs to identify and address scientific needs and to stay abreast of current scientific trends in assigned Therapeutic Area.
Cultivate existing and identify new collaborative KOL relationships for advisory boards, company-sponsored, investigator-initiated research, and speaker development
Represent Chiesi Global Rare Diseases Medical Affairs at national, regional, and local scientific meetings
Deliver high-caliber medical education presentations in a variety of settings
Participate in internal therapeutic advisory groups

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of a graduate level degree (PharmD., M.D., D.O., DNP, PhD, MSN, MS or equivalent healthcare professional degree) long with relevant clinical experience
Post-graduate residency training along with 1-2 years MSL or clinical experience relevant to the Therapeutic Area assigned to the prospective candidate (exception for PhD candidates with requisite experience)
Demonstration of scientific and clinical expertise in assigned therapeutic area, including exceptional clinical, pharmacoeconomic and real-world evidence knowledge and business acumen
Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication skills: Highly articulate and persuasive during formal and informal presentations; able to convey complex, scientific ideas fluently to any audience
Adept at confidently stating expert opinion while respecting the positions of others - can exert diplomacy while standing firmly on evidence-based positions and maintain credibility
