About the role

  • Develop analytics and connect those outputs to business decisions; interact with and influence US Market Access, Marketing, and Sales
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis informing enterprise-level decision-making and drive business accountability
  • Proactively identify key opportunities to drive performance by leveraging various analytics techniques
  • Communicate customer and business insights and data findings; create succinct stories to influence business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align analytics with overall business objectives
  • Dissect business issues, analyze root causes, and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders and executives
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to determine descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analysis to support business objectives
  • Connect disparate data sources to generate new insights and provide strategic recommendations
  • Lead delivery of analysis and BI scope that is clearly defined, tracked, implemented, monitored, and communicated
  • Lead key initiatives by providing project management, analytical problem solving, preparation of presentation material, and program implementation

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analyst function (e.g., operations, finance, business analytics)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a role that supports Marketing Teams in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., market research, business analytics, marketing), with some experience in the respiratory space
  • Ability to multitask and deliver results in tight timelines, and adaptability to fast paced, frequently changing environment
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, ability to think strategically about the business and challenge the status quo thought process
  • Team player and collaborates well with other team members from diverse backgrounds and work styles
  • Ability to communicate data to target audiences across the organization
  • Experience with reporting & business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Must be proficient with all MS Office applications, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience working with a pharmaceutical company on a launch preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited university
