About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts, regional chains, and strategic partners
- Drive revenue growth through account management and internal collaboration
- Identify and prioritize restaurant chain partnerships
- Negotiate agreements with restaurant chains to promote and distribute products
- Collaborate with marketing teams on tailored promotions and campaigns
- Develop and implement strategic account plans and initiatives
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Set and achieve sales targets and analyze sales data for growth opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing, distribution, and supply chain teams
- Provide account insights to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Conduct regular business reviews and address partner concerns
- Serve as the primary contact for restaurant chain partners
- Lead or assist with trainings and events
- Manage the assigned territory, including key accounts throughout Vancouver and Whistler
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset
- Proven experience in key account management within the beverage-alcohol industry, with a focus on regional chain partnerships
- Strong understanding of the beverage-alcohol industry, including trends and dynamics
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts and partnerships
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other relevant software
- WSET and/or related certifications are preferred
- Availability for evening and weekend work is required
- Availability for occasional domestic and international travel
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
