About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee monthly accounting activities and the preparation of financial statements
  • Lead budgeting, financial forecasting and performance analysis
  • Monitor cash flow, margins, costs and key performance indicators
  • Lead, coach and develop the finance team
  • Strengthen internal controls and the quality of financial information
  • Support analysis of margins, costs, inventory and profitability levers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on financial and operational matters
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax requirements and regulatory obligations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and management tools
  • Provide clear, rigorous and action-oriented financial analyses to senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CPA designation required
  • Strong experience in accounting, finance, budgeting and financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Comfortable with financial systems; experience with Business Central is an asset
  • Strong judgment, rigor and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to translate financial information into actionable recommendations
  • Collaborative leadership
  • Proven experience managing, developing and motivating a team
  • Bilingual — French and English
