About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee monthly accounting activities and the preparation of financial statements
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting and performance analysis
- Monitor cash flow, margins, costs and key performance indicators
- Lead, coach and develop the finance team
- Strengthen internal controls and the quality of financial information
- Support analysis of margins, costs, inventory and profitability levers
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on financial and operational matters
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax requirements and regulatory obligations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and management tools
- Provide clear, rigorous and action-oriented financial analyses to senior management
Requirements
What you’ll need- CPA designation required
- Strong experience in accounting, finance, budgeting and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Comfortable with financial systems; experience with Business Central is an asset
- Strong judgment, rigor and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to translate financial information into actionable recommendations
- Collaborative leadership
- Proven experience managing, developing and motivating a team
- Bilingual — French and English
