About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

In an environment of continuous change, you ensure stability in accounting and guarantee timely, high-quality processing of all business transactions in the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets accounting.
You handle the daily posting of bank statements and transactions in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
As part of the ongoing posting of operational transactions, you also record necessary provisions.
You independently manage the complete month-end closing for individual subsidiaries, including the general ledger and subledgers.
In your daily work you use our ERP system SAP ByD and our consolidation software IDL.
You support the preparation and execution of financial closings, including the correct, period-appropriate and complete allocation of all B2C revenues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration provides your professional foundation.
You have already gained relevant professional experience in a generalist accounting role.
You have good knowledge of accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB) — it would be a plus if you have also had initial exposure to IFRS.
