About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) and Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development for United States Coast Guard (USCG) Electronic (ELEX) systems and equipment utilized throughout the service.
  • Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) in accordance with MIL-STD-3034 (series) (Navy).
  • Develop Maintenance Requirement List (MRL), List of Effective Pages (LOEP) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs). Format will be as directed by USCG.
  • Develop ELEX MPCs that will be ready for publication. MPC content will be developed using the Coast Guard’s Maintenance Development process covered in CGTO PG-85-00-230-G, Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Process Guide (Current Version/Edition) and current standards and practices.
  • Support the CG-22 process through RCMA, MPC development, and MPC updates.
  • Attend meetings and conferences.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Six (6) years of experience in USCG or DOD electronics maintenance and development.
  • Hold a current RCM Level-II Maintenance Analysis Certification by the USCG or NAVSEA or obtain Certification within six (6) months of hire date.
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written.

  • Position is fully remote, however, on-site accommodations can be made at the contractor’s facility, located next to the Coast Guard, if so desired.
  • Pass a drug screen and federal background check is mandatory.
  • Ability to pass a NACI/Tier1 background investigation and obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) to access USCG IT systems and facilities.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET level clearance upon direction of the USCG.
