About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide policy, program, and business analysis support to the Army Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI)
  • Assess federal legislation, Executive Orders, OMB guidance, Army directives, Department of War requirements, and other regulatory drivers affecting program execution
  • Evaluate governance, processes, and business operations to improve efficiency, accountability, coordination, and delivery
  • Translate complex information into actionable recommendations, executive products, and management reports
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Experience researching and conducting impact assessments of DoW policy and regulatory requirements
  • Experience preparing, coordinating, and editing DoW-level executive correspondence, decision memoranda, information papers, briefing materials, staffing packages, and other senior-leader products
  • Proficiency using ETMS2 to initiate, staff, track, coordinate, revise, and close taskings
  • Experience conducting organizational assessments and business process analyses
  • Experience identifying gaps and developing and implementing process improvement recommendations
  • Experience developing performance measures, metrics, and dashboards
  • Experience with Smartsheet, including advanced formulas, reports, dashboards, and automations
  • Ability to learn quickly and work fast in evolving environments
  • Self-starter who brings ideas forward and proactively explores new opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to independently produce leadership-ready work products
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority taskings and meet short or competing suspense dates
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
