About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive inbound and make outbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling and general inquiries
- Respond to patient inquiries based on the ChenMed core model for care
- Escalate issues and concerns as appropriate
- Make timely decisions according to department standards, procedures, and policies
- Document interactions using web-based technology
- Provide prompt and accurate service to maintain business relationships and promote loyalty
- Collaborate with team members across multiple departments to promote VIP customer service and patient interactions
- Support initiatives and medical centers across ChenMed entities by assisting with key departmental and medical-center business functions
- Perform other duties as assigned or modified by the manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required, in a call center or similar environment
- Experience adhering to KPIs or metrics in a call center environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting highly preferred
- Experience with web-based customer relationship management systems
- Competent-level business acuity
- Knowledge of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques, and methods
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, including active listening
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to operate successfully in a demanding environment
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Competence in other systems required for the position
- Availability and willingness to work overtime as requested by leadership and based on business staffing needs
- Spoken and written fluency in English; bilingual ability is a plus, with Spanish, Creole, or Vietnamese preferred
- Must reside within the Continental United States
- Must reside within a US state where the company is established as a legal entity
