About the role

  • Take ownership of products, especially ads bidding and user segmentation
  • Collaborate with Backend, Frontend & Data Engineers, SREs, and Product Managers to enhance the platform
  • Improve performance and migrate or redesign outdated services
  • Ensure high-quality, maintainable code with strong test coverage
  • Promote development best practices: peer code review, continuous integration, rapid deployment
  • Select appropriate tools and technologies for reliability and efficiency
  • Manage technical debt while addressing daily scaling challenges
  • Keep a focus on technical and business scalability to minimize technical debt

Requirements

  • Strong experience with NodeJS or Go
  • Worked on large-scale systems, service-oriented architecture, or caching systems (in-memory, distributed)
  • Experience with high-performance and/or low-latency systems
  • Understand stream processing architectures
  • Experience maintaining or operating production systems
  • Knowledge of at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Ability to write code that is easy to test and consistent
  • Focus on scalability and reducing technical debt
  • Skilled at diagnosing and resolving production issues
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and communicate technical vision
  • Applicants must maintain residency and be legally authorized to work in France or the European Union
  • Position not open to B2B/freelance collaboration; expects permanent/full-time contract
