About the role
- Own the strategy for Checkr's people data platform, the foundational pillar for all data within the company
- Centralize and build the AI systems used to audit and organize data, and the infrastructure to process this data
- Manage systems for intelligently routing between different sources and vendors to power screenings
- Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML data teams, and other cross-functional teams to define the platform's vision and strategy
- Develop and prioritize the platform product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs
- Conduct research and gather feedback to inform product decisions
- Work closely with engineering to deliver high-quality platform features and improvements on turnaround time
- Define and analyze key metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
- Lead platform product launches and ensure successful adoption by internal teams and customers
Requirements
- 10+ years as a Product Manager with recent experience working on a platform product
- A strong understanding of platform engineering principles and technologies
- Experience with vendor API integrations, anomaly detection, and search orchestration
- An instinct for good platform design and a high degree of attention to detail
- Experience managing project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized way
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
