About the role
- Partner with Checkr’s FinOps and People Operations business teams to define capability and systems roadmap for a scalable application platform
- Lead teams to develop detailed requirements and execute plans to build, integrate, or implement systems solutions to meet business needs
- Ensure projects follow infrastructure architecture standards, maximize systems and operational efficiencies, protect data, and support platform compatibility
- Define processes for evaluation and selection of third-party systems/applications, including writing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs and managing demonstrations, POCs, pilots, and cook-outs
- Coordinate delivery of services to user groups and ensure uninterrupted IT service
- Manage development, deployment, and execution of controls and defenses to ensure security and risk mitigation of company infrastructure technology and information systems
- Serve as key leadership within Corporate Engineering, reporting to the Head of Corporate Engineering and partnering closely with FinOps and People Operations
Requirements
- Proven experience leading Financial and People systems teams
- Deep experience in implementing Financial and People applications, such as Oracle Financials, Workday, and other related systems
- Proven leader who has successfully built, coached, and led teams to evaluate, develop, integrate, or implement systems for Revenue and Customer business functions
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with different business units across the organization
- Demonstrate strong experience building teams capable of developing detailed requirements for the implementation of new systems
- Experience identifying, baselining, and tracking KPIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to function well in a high-paced, dynamic and high growth environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, management or related studies
