• Security Engineering & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of highly available, scalable security controls and services across a multi-cloud environment.
• Security Operations & Incident Response: Mature and lead detection, analysis, and containment capabilities, driving post-incident remediation and preventative measures.
• AI-Driven Security Transformation: Spearhead the evaluation, prototyping, and deployment of agentic AI patterns to automate security tasks, enhance threat detection, and transform engineering throughput. Build and refine AI agents to augment the security team’s capabilities.
• Tooling & Automation Mastery: Take ownership of the security tooling lifecycle, from evaluation and deployment to configuration and continuous maturity across infrastructure.

• Owning metric integrity — defining and governing what our numbers actually mean, so no one downstream is making a call off a flawed definition or a dodgy query.
• Acting as the quality gate on AI-generated analysis — checking the logic, validating the output, and catching errors before they ever reach a stakeholder.
• Designing and interpreting A/B tests — setting the success metrics, sizing the sample properly, and knowing when a result is underpowered rather than just running with it.
• Diagnosing what's actually driving commercial performance — why revenue is moving, where leads are dropping out of the funnel, which segments are underperforming — and turning that into a structured investigation with real hypotheses.
• Turning analysis into action — sizing the commercial impact, laying out the trade-offs, and helping the business decide what to do differently, then tracking whether it worked.
• Building interactive dashboards and self-serve tools that keep stakeholders oriented day-to-day, without an analyst needing to be in the loop every time.

Analytics Lead – Experimentation

Artificial Intelligence

• Defining and owning the AI Services strategy and roadmap, with a clear path to revenue and profitability, and owning the P&L end-to-end — pricing, unit economics, the lot.
• Identifying and prioritising AI-driven revenue opportunities across consumer and trade audiences, and building the business cases that bring them to life for the CEO and Board.
• Partnering closely with our COO and CTO to shape and deliver the AI product roadmap, building products that solve genuine problems for homeowners and tradespeople alike.
• Staying on top of where AI is heading — LLMs, agentic systems, computer vision — and translating that into what's genuinely useful for our customers, managing any third-party AI partners along the way.
• Recruiting and leading a cross-functional team across product, engineering, data science and commercial, and building a culture of innovation and pace that attracts great people.
• Representing AI Services on the OpCo and working closely with Marketing, Sales and Operations to embed AI into how we already work — while keeping a close eye on the regulatory and ethical side of deploying AI products.

• Driving rigorous prioritisation and planning — balancing short-term commercial impact with long-term platform investment, and keeping the organisation moving at pace.
• Leading the integration of AI and machine learning across the product — from search and matching to personalisation and automation — identifying where these tools can genuinely unlock step-change improvements in experience and efficiency.
• Partnering closely with Marketing, Engineering, Design, Data, and Commercial teams to make sure product decisions are grounded in real user needs and real business outcomes.
• Representing the product function in board and investor conversations — communicating roadmap, progress, and trade-offs with clarity and confidence.
