About the role

  • We're seeking a Risk Analyst with a sharp eye for investigating entities and transactions and process improvement. You'll help shape our risk strategy and processes while collaborating closely with partners, compliance, legal, ops, engineering, and product teams to support customers, reduce risk, and build smarter systems.
  • In this role, you will:
  • Own and execute company reviews, payroll monitoring, and related processes with precision and clear communication across teams, partners, and customers.
  • Build and maintain risk policies and processes, training teammates and partners as needed.
  • Partner with Product & Engineering to improve risk tools, processes, and systems.
  • Escalate potential fraud incidents, document insights, and drive resolutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Many backgrounds could fit this role, but ideal candidates will have some or all of the following:
  • Have 3 - 5 years of experience in risk and fraud investigation or a similar fintech analytics role
  • Are detail-oriented and able to manage investigations from start to finish
  • Excel at time management and handling multiple cases simultaneously
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external parties
  • Have worked in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Are eager to refine processes and drive efficiency improvements
  • Are curious and willing to learn new tools and skills (SQL experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours
  • Ability to attend our annual 3-day company offsite in the fall
