About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand complex business requirements for software architecture and application design
Develop Custom Apps and public apps for the Shopify ecosystem using React and Node.js
Model and manipulate data using MongoDB and SQL databases
Implement routines and solutions based on Artificial Intelligence to enrich the shopping experience and generate automations
Integrate with e-commerce ecosystem APIs (Shopify Admin API, Storefront, etc.)
Version control, local development, staging, and production deployment
Maintain, refactor code, and fix potential bugs in existing applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

React.js
Node.js
NoSQL database (MongoDB)
Relational database (SQL)
Hands-on experience integrating Artificial Intelligence APIs (LLMs, agents, AI tools)
JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
HTML and CSS
RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Git
Agile methodologies (Scrum)
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Full-Stack developer (focused on React and Node.js)
Practical experience developing applications that use relational and non-relational databases
At least 6 months of experience with a project management tool, such as JIRA
