About the role

  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using advanced Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
  • Implement robust solutions to optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO;
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and critical bugs on Shopify Plus stores, ensuring SLA compliance;
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and customer success to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions;
  • Work with version control (Git/Bitbucket), and staging and production pipelines;
  • Support app and API integrations, creating customizations when necessary;
  • Ensure delivery quality through code reviews, best practices, and technical standardization.

Requirements

  • 5 years of front-end experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6+)
  • Strong experience developing Shopify themes (Liquid)
  • Proficiency with version control (Git/Bitbucket)
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Proven experience resolving critical bugs and performing ongoing maintenance in e-commerce environments
  • Experience with Jira (minimum 1 year).
