About the role
- Cultivate and grow post-sale relationships for Chatmeter’s business and small market clients, focused on retention and adoption of full-suite services.
- Become the primary contact post-sales and lead the customer relationship through onboarding; take full ownership of account health post-implementation.
- Establish trusting relationships with day-to-day users, key stakeholders and executive sponsors; support onboarding and set partnership goals.
- Manage inbound customer communications and escalate billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries appropriately.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales, Support, Marketing and Executives to achieve customer goals and provide visibility/escalations.
- Actively seek out upsell opportunities and prepare/deliver product presentations.
- Prepare and report on goals and sales; negotiate and close deals; handle complaints or objections.
- Monitor adoption and product utilization; conduct weekly customer health-checks and alert clients on risks.
- Partner with executives, sales & product teams to ensure successful renewals and serve as the voice of the customer.
Requirements
- 2 years of account management experience in a SaaS organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to simplify complex topics in a friendly, approachable manner.
- Flexible and able to juggle competing projects and priorities; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in team settings.
- Proficiency in technology and ease with learning new systems.
- General knowledge of the top cloud-based applications in a standard sales stack: Salesforce, Google Apps, Marketo, etc.
