About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage key store design projects across Europe – North & South, predominantly Self-Select store execution
  • Manage projects from initial creative concept through store opening
  • Foster exceptional Charlotte Tilbury customer experience within cost, schedule, and operational requirements
  • Lead store design projects from concept through execution
  • Manage suppliers, contractors, consultants, mechanical/electrical engineers, external project managers, and architects
  • Report to EMEA Head Office Store Design
  • Ensure design standards and concepts are maintained in architectural details
  • Understand and interpret DDA and building codes and apply for relevant building applications where applicable, such as advert consent
  • Research materials and details with suppliers and consultants, considering construction standards, maintenance, operations, and procurement needs
  • Organise, update, and archive project documentation
  • Assist in developing and updating design standards guidelines
  • Ensure assigned projects align with brand strategy, schedules, and budgets
  • Communicate project and design matters through verbal and drawing skills
  • Review and obtain approval of manufacture drawings for design integrity and safety standards
  • Provide and manage CPA for store design projects and present business updates
  • Identify and propose solutions to issues affecting project schedules, costs, or design integrity across multiple projects
  • Attend installation of new concessions and stores, monitoring standards and snagging issues
  • Work with the EU Store Design & VM team, Global team, and wider EU function

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced project manager within the retail space
  • Extensive knowledge of accessibility and building codes
  • Good understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural concepts
  • Experience managing approval processes for retail stores in new stores, existing stores, and historic street-facing buildings
  • Decisive problem-solving skills regarding construction materials and methods
  • Exceptional attention to detail and vision for using spaces and commercial opportunities
  • Supreme organisational and prioritising skills while managing multiple jobs and suppliers/contractors
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively and drive team success
  • Skilled in visual, written, and verbal communication of design issues
  • Expert in Vectorworks and AutoCAD
  • Basic Photoshop and InDesign proficiency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and operate in an agile environment
  • Flexible, professional, self-starting, results-driven attitude
