About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete all onboarding requirements within 2 weeks of initial contracting date
- Meet monthly with the assigned Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director
- Communicate professionally and promptly via email and Slack with care-team staff
- Review assigned curriculum before group sessions
- Arrive approximately 10 minutes early and facilitate groups for the entire session
- Facilitate SUD groups according to Charlie Health best practices
- Foster a supportive environment and guide clients in developing long-term recovery skills
- Facilitate groups across age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour
- Foster client engagement and group cohesion, including a camera-on culture
- Participate in Treatment Team and Group Supervision sessions
- Collaborate across the care team with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches
- Communicate with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents
- Complete treatment documentation within 24 hours and meet HCA-DBHR and Joint Commission standards
- Maintain professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must hold Washington State Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) certification
- Available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 5:00–8:00 PM Pacific Time, for the full three-hour block
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Solid understanding of abstinence and harm-reduction models
- Experience working with youth and adults
- Well versed in a variety of modalities and confident integrating them into the approach
- Passionate about group treatment and skilled in conducting group treatment
- Technical ability to run effective telehealth sessions
- Reliable WiFi connection when meeting with clients
- Familiarity with Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, EMR, and outcomes survey software
- Maintain a HIPAA compliant workspace
- Part-time, 1099 role
