About the role

  • Oversee facilitation of admissions for at-risk youth and act as first point of contact for potential patients and families
  • Build rapport with families, assess clinical needs, and ensure a seamless, compassionate admissions experience
  • Meet performance metrics related to admission rates, patient satisfaction, and time-to-admission
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to a team of Clinical Admissions Therapists and Associates, including performance management and coaching
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings and collaborate cross-functionally to refine assessment tools and workflows
  • Conduct HIPAA-compliant virtual biopsychosocial assessments and develop provisional DSM-5 diagnoses
  • Coordinate with crisis teams and escalate to higher levels of care as needed
  • Assign clients to appropriate therapists, group schedules, and cohorts and ensure timely, accurate EMR documentation
  • Conduct monthly chart audits, deliver biannual performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement across the department

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health admissions
  • Independent licensure in a mental health discipline (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, etc.)
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Experience working with children, adolescent, and adult populations preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage operational details in a fluid environment
  • Proven ability to motivate, lead, and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the team and patients
  • Must be able to work in the evenings until 6pm MT and weekends as needed to accommodate event programming
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
  • Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Salesforce–in addition to EMR and survey software on a daily basis
