About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct healthcare services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings
- Triage and on-call support, including referrals and occasional home visits
- Medication administration and documentation
- Supporting ICF-IID homes with medical needs
- Collaborating on individualized care plans
- Training staff on health-related protocols
- Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years old
- Diploma or Associates degree from an accredited nursing program
- Active license in good standing with the SC Board of Nursing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently within Spartanburg County
- Valid driver’s license and Social Security number
- Ability to type 70+ WPM and navigate basic computer systems
- Must pass background checks, DMV screening, Medicaid exclusion, fingerprinting (if SC resident <1 year), and provide 3 professional references
