Director

• The Appellate Project seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth, institutional development, and national impact.
• This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and equity-driven leader who will strengthen TAP’s organizational infrastructure, expand partnerships and fundraising efforts, and help shape the organization’s long-term vision and sustainability.
• While TAP will operate within the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law at NYU School of Law, the Executive Director will lead TAP’s strategic direction, programmatic growth, external partnerships, and community engagement.
• Reporting to the Faculty Director of the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law, the Executive Director will oversee TAP’s strategic and operational leadership, including program implementation, fundraising, partnerships, and organizational development.
• This individual will work closely with NYU leadership, funders, judges, alumni, law firms, volunteers, and strategic partners to strengthen TAP’s visibility, deepen partnerships, and expand opportunities for participants nationwide.
• The Executive Director will also serve as a public representative and thought partner within the appellate and broader legal community.

Executive Director

• The Director, Individual Philanthropy and Chapter Engagement is responsible for leading and strengthening Pratham USA's mid-level and major donor fundraising efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, and revenue growth.
• Strengthen donor engagement opportunities, fundraising campaigns, and cultivation pathways across donor segments.
• Support the continued evolution of Pratham's gala fundraising model and other engagement initiatives.
• Ensure strong donor pipeline development, portfolio management, forecasting, and fundraising performance measurement.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align fundraising priorities with organizational goals.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for a national fundraising team.
• Lead, mentor, and develop fundraising professionals across multiple regions.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and professional development initiatives.
• Establish consistent fundraising practices, donor engagement standards, and performance expectations.
• Build volunteer capacity around donor cultivation, stewardship, and community engagement.
• Strengthen communication and alignment between national and chapter leadership.
• Foster a donor-centered culture while contributing to organizational strategy and growth.

• Pratham USA is seeking a relationship-driven Regional Development Manager to lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts across Texas. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Fundraising, this role will be responsible for growing philanthropic support through donor cultivation, volunteer engagement, chapter partnership, and community outreach.
• The Regional Development Manager will manage a portfolio of mid-level and major donors, develop personalized engagement strategies, and work closely with chapter leaders, board members, and volunteers to strengthen fundraising efforts throughout the region. This individual will play a key role in donor stewardship, chapter fundraising, event execution, and pipeline development while serving as an ambassador for Pratham's mission and impact.
