About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the execution of regional sales strategies and contribute to market development initiatives supporting revenue growth, customer success, and long-term business objectives
  • Provide leadership, coaching, guidance, performance feedback, and developmental support to Branch Managers and Outside Sales team members
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, customer engagement, business development activities, forecasting disciplines, and accountability standards
  • Monitor progress against Key Performance Indicators and regional performance objectives
  • Use sales, customer, and operational data to evaluate performance, identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities, and implement timely actions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, dealers, and strategic accounts
  • Serve as a trusted resource to branch teams
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership to align commercial priorities with operational capabilities and deliver a consistent customer experience across branches
  • Facilitate communication and share best practices across branches, departments, and regions
  • Conduct regular branch visits, customer meetings, ride-alongs, training activities, industry events, and field engagement
  • Spend generally two to three days per quarter at each branch
  • Participate in employee selection, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and talent development
  • Establish performance expectations and hold the team accountable
  • Participate in special projects and assume additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in sales, business development, distribution, manufacturing, or a related commercial environment
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a multi-location or geographically dispersed environment
  • Experience executing sales strategies and driving business growth through customer development, market expansion, and performance improvement
  • Experience using CRM systems, forecasting tools, and performance management processes
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region, including regular overnight travel
  • Residence within reasonable proximity to a major airport
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by automobile throughout the assigned territory
