About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads the execution of regional sales strategies and contributes to market development initiatives that support revenue growth, customer success, and long-term business objectives.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and guidance to ensure consistent execution of sales processes, customer engagement practices, business development activities, forecasting disciplines, and accountability standards throughout the region while monitoring progress against established Key Performance Indicators and regional performance objectives.
  • Leverages sales, customer, and operational data to evaluate performance, identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities, and implement timely actions that support achievement of regional objectives.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and strategic accounts while serving as a trusted resource to branch teams.
  • Collaborates closely with Executive Leadership to align commercial priorities with operational capabilities and deliver a consistent customer experience across all branches.
  • Facilitates communication and the sharing of best practices across branches, departments, and regions.
  • Maintains a visible leadership presence throughout the region through regular branch visits, customer meetings, ride-along, training activities, industry events, and field engagement. The position spends meaningful time at each branch, generally two to three days per quarter, to strengthen relationships, support development, assess performance, and reinforce organizational priorities.
  • Demonstrates and reinforces the behaviors, values, and standards expected of leaders within Charger Water, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and participates in special projects as needed to support the achievement of organizational goals and business priorities.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and developmental support to Branch Managers and Outside Sales team members.
  • Participates in employee selection, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and talent development activities.
  • Establishes performance expectations to achieve sales and business objectives; holds the team accountable.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in sales, business development, distribution, manufacturing, or a related commercial environment.
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a multi-location or geographically dispersed environment.
  • Experience leading the execution of sales strategies and driving business growth through customer development, market expansion, and performance improvement.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, forecasting tools, and performance management processes.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region, including regular overnight travel.
  • Residence within reasonable proximity to a major airport.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by automobile throughout the assigned territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
