About the role
- - Organize and update the company's tax database
- - Prepare tax payments and estimate and track tax returns
- - Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
- - Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
- - Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
- - Share financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements
- - Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits within tax regulations
- - Follow industry trends and track changes
- - Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
- - Forecast tax predictions to senior managers to inform business
Requirements
- - Bachelor's’ Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline is required
- - 1-3 years of related experience in Tax Accounting is required
- - Previous experience in Mexican taxes, taxes audit is required
- - Knowledge of equipment financing (in particular transportation equipment), would be considered an asset
- - Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- - Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- - Strategical thinking
- - Fluent English is a must
