About the role
- Create and implement quality control procedures for logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Perform regular quality audits of logistics operations and vendor facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify improvements
- Use AWS tools to analyze KPIs (defect rates, delivery accuracy, customer satisfaction) and generate actionable insights
- Oversee development and execution of corrective action plans for quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Design and deliver training sessions for staff on quality control processes, AWS tools, and regulatory compliance
- Analyze and resolve customer complaints related to quality, track trends, and work cross-functionally to implement improvements
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure quality objectives are met and participate in alignment meetings
Requirements
- Fluent english is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality control within the logistics sector
- At least 3 years in a senior management role
- Proficiency in AWS (Amazon Web Services), including data analytics and reporting tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence
