Own the success of assigned product domains within the CharacterStrong platform.
Collaborate within the iron triangle (Product, UX, Engineering) to create solutions and deliver outcomes.
Translate roadmap priorities into clear product initiatives and execution plans.
Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide development teams.
Maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with customer value and delivery capacity.
Conduct continuous discovery in partnership with UX and User Research.
Engage educators, district leaders, and internal stakeholders to uncover needs and pain points.
Lead initiatives from concept through launch and iteration.
Partner with Engineering, UX, and Project Management to ensure clarity, alignment, and execution.
Leverage AI tools, in partnership with Product Leadership, to improve product development workflows.

Requirements

6–8+ years of software product management experience, preferably within EdTech or SaaS platforms.
Experience owning product initiatives, end-to-end, in agile environments.
Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights and data into prioritized, successful product features.
Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, UX, and business teams.
Expertise in requirements gathering, backlog management, ticket triage, and roadmap alignment.
Experience leading multiple squads, balancing new initiatives with ongoing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated use of AI tools across key stages of the SDLC.
Ability to analyze user feedback and data, identify patterns, and translate insights into prioritized, impactful product improvements.
Strong empathy for K-12 users and demonstrated skill in active listening during interviews to uncover pain points and improvement opportunities.
Operates effectively in iterative environments, balancing long-term vision with evolving user and business needs.
