About the role
- Build, nurture, and sustain strong relationships with designated ecommerce partners, including Amazon, Walmart, and direct-to-consumer sites.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for marketplace participants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment.
- Oversee daily marketplace activities, including product listing updates, keyword optimization, content health, and catalog maintenance.
- Responsible for self service maintenance of Channellock presence on ecommerce sites, particularly Amazon.
- Manage new product launches, variations, and seasonal promotional activities to maximize visibility and sales.
- Ensure inventory availability, demand forecasting, and logistics coordination aligned with sales goals.
- Monitor industry trends, marketplace fluctuations, and competitive landscape shifts; develop actionable forecasts and strategic responses.
- Lead initiatives to optimize listings, improve SEO, and enhance visibility through keyword and content strategies.
- Plan, execute, and analyze promotional campaigns, including advertising budgets, media strategies, and ROI maximization for Amazon, Walmart, and other platform advertising.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling content assets for advertising and product pages.
- Identify new opportunities for account expansion, international marketplace entry, and product diversification.
- Drive sales growth through effective promotional planning, vendor negotiations, and category expansion strategies.
- Leverage marketplace analytics tools (Amazon Retail Analytics, reporting dashboards) to monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and inform decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, campaign effectiveness, and market insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, creative, and analytics teams to ensure alignment on content, campaigns, and operational execution.
- Lead or support cross-departmental projects related to innovation, technology integration, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon (Vendor & Seller Central), Walmart.com, and other ecommerce platforms within a CPG or branded environment.
- Proven expertise in Amazon SEO, keyword strategies, catalog management, and advertising (media purchase, ROI focus).
- Strong familiarity with ecommerce ecosystems, inventory management, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.
