GTM Specialist, Founding Member

Channel Talk

GTM Specialist for startup creating customer engagement strategies in San Francisco. Collaborating with founders and operators to explore market responses in AI sector.

Posted 7/2/2026full-timeSan Francisco • California • 🇺🇸 United StatesMid-LevelSeniorWebsite

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with the Channels team to map which customers they should meet first in the U.S. Identify fast-growing AI startups and founders/operators in San Francisco, form hypotheses about which teams will need ChannelTalk first, and validate them.
  • Go beyond desk research and meet founders directly. Create new conversations through coffee chats, events, referrals, communities, and direct outreach, and listen for where their customer-facing, sales, and operations processes are breaking down.
  • Turn strong conversations into real opportunities. Arrange follow-up meetings with interested teams, convert them into demos and pilots, and follow through until they become early design partners and customers.
  • Find messages that resonate in the U.S. market. Experiment to learn which problems prompt founders to respond, which use cases are most persuasive, and which customer segments realize value most quickly.
  • Introduce ChannelTalk naturally into the early startup ecosystem. Test small meetups, founder dinners, community activities, customer referrals, and early references to build trust in the product.
  • Translate market feedback from the field into product and strategy. Work with the product team and leadership to sharpen the U.S. GTM by discussing why customers care, why they hesitate, and which features and messages are needed.
  • Build repeatable early GTM motions. Focus not just on increasing meeting volume but on documenting which approaches lead to actual customers, references, and learnings, and connecting those to the next experiments.
  • Be on the front lines of discovery—determine who the Channels team should meet, what problems ChannelTalk should solve, and how it should grow in the U.S., rather than joining an already-built sales machine.
