Key responsibilities & impact

Process and manage loan rate lock requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor pipeline exposure and track lock expirations to support pipeline risk management.
Collaborate with Capital Markets, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth loan funding and delivery processes.
Maintain accurate records of all lock desk activity, including loan locks, extensions, and expirations.
Support hedging strategies and provide data for analysis of pipeline risk and profitability.
Communicate with internal teams regarding pipeline status, rate lock confirmations, and related inquiries.
Assist in the preparation of reports and dashboards for management to monitor lock desk performance.
Ensure all lock desk activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and risk.

Requirements

What you’ll need

PST candidates required.
Required: 1–3 years of experience in mortgage capital markets, loan operations, or lock desk support.
Understanding of Non-QM lending, rate locks, and mortgage pipeline management preferred.
Experience with Polly pricing platform is a plus, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with Encompass LOS and capital markets tools preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
