About the role

  • You will independently manage our key accounts within the German grocery retail sector.
  • You drive effective collaboration and act as a catalyst for sustainable growth of our branded products in grocery retail and discount channels.
  • Through regular analysis of market conditions and data, you develop measures that help us achieve our marketing and corporate objectives.
  • You lead national and regional negotiations and discussions with retail buying offices and optimize our product portfolio for profitability and growth.
  • You maintain and expand retail sales contacts in collaboration with our Sales and Category Management teams.
  • In cooperation with Supply Chain Management, you plan both quantities and sales (promotion and core assortments).
  • You contribute to cross-departmental projects and meetings to review and optimize internal workflows and processes.

Requirements

  • You are familiar with the German grocery retail sector and FMCG categories—experience with fresh products is a plus.
  • A degree in business administration or a comparable commercial qualification, including further professional development, forms the basis of your profile.
  • You have professional experience as a Key Account Manager and have proven experience in operationally managing retailer buying offices.
  • You enjoy conducting market and customer analyses and developing action plans.
  • You are action-oriented and decisive.
  • You are proficient with relevant sales and planning tools (MS Office, YouGov, Circana, SAP, etc.).
  • Category management and marketing know-how are part of your skill set.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication—both within the team and with customers.
