About the role
- Line-manage a team of fifteen staff (technical assistants and field technicians)
- Build team cohesion around the company's strategic objectives and develop team competencies
- Ensure the proper functioning of services within the professional framework and regional guidelines
- Organize field technicians' activities and manage challenging situations
- Represent the service locally and manage relationships with partners and government authorities on these missions (DDETSPP, GDS, Réagir, MSA, etc.)
- Contribute to the management and steering of the service's regional activities
- Lead projects on behalf of the service and represent the service in external bodies (Chamber projects, Grand Ouest or national initiatives)
- Carry out certain core operational activities (depending on profile)
- Contribute to the promotion and development of Chamber services to livestock farmers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or equivalent
- Proven experience in team management
- Knowledge of livestock farming and animal identification would be a strong advantage
- Proficiency with computer tools and databases
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented approach
- Proactive and solutions-oriented
