About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Management of the Animal Production Service
- Participation in the chamber’s decision-making bodies: Executive Committee (CODIR), Bureau, and Sessions
- Representation of the organization with partners: producer groups, cooperatives
- Preparation and monitoring of the service budget in coordination with the deputy director responsible for the chamber’s budget
- Operational management of the service composed of 6 advisors and 2 assistants
- Oversight and monitoring of the service’s funding programs
- Cross-cutting actions in coordination with the Environment Service
- Sector studies and identification of diversification opportunities
- Operational support to teams as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in agronomy/agricultural engineering or a Master’s degree related to animal production
- Strong technical background in animal production, particularly beef cow-calf systems
- Knowledge of how animal production sectors and supply chains operate
- Management skills and experience in project development
- Ability to prepare and monitor budgets
- Category B driving licence
- Experience: at least 2 years’ initial experience in management and project management

Comp & perks- Permanent full-time contract (CDI) — 1596 annual hours — with RTT (16 days)
