About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Management of the Animal Production Service
Participation in the chamber’s decision-making bodies: Executive Committee (CODIR), Bureau, and Sessions
Representation of the organization with partners: producer groups, cooperatives
Preparation and monitoring of the service budget in coordination with the deputy director responsible for the chamber’s budget
Operational management of the service composed of 6 advisors and 2 assistants
Oversight and monitoring of the service’s funding programs
Cross-cutting actions in coordination with the Environment Service
Sector studies and identification of diversification opportunities
Operational support to teams as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in agronomy/agricultural engineering or a Master’s degree related to animal production
Strong technical background in animal production, particularly beef cow-calf systems
Knowledge of how animal production sectors and supply chains operate
Management skills and experience in project development
Ability to prepare and monitor budgets
Category B driving licence
Experience: at least 2 years’ initial experience in management and project management
