About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support farmers with projects to create, expand or modernize their farm buildings as part of fee-based services
- Deliver projects from A to Z: from building design through to submission of the building permit
- Support and prepare applications for funding (PCAE) and regulatory filings (ICPE, RSD…)
- Maintain and develop relationships with the farms under your responsibility
- Participate in R&D projects on building innovations
- Monitor changes in technical and regulatory standards
- Take part in and present at technical meetings or deliver training sessions to farmers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education in agriculture
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in advisory/support roles for livestock farmers and/or in designing agricultural buildings
- Knowledge of applicable regulations (PLU, ICPE)
- DEXEL accreditation appreciated
- Archicad experience appreciated
- Excellent interpersonal skills and service orientation
- Autonomous, proactive and dynamic
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Adaptability to changing situations
- Driver’s license (Category B)
