About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to the Head of Department on activities related to water quality, biodiversity, environment and renewable energy
- Operationally manage, under the supervision of the Head of Department, all department staff for service missions and ensure objectives are met
- Support the Head of Department in coordinating the Environment and Energy committee (liaison with elected officials, committee organization) and in implementing the political strategy of the mandate
- Act as deputy for the Head of Department upon request
- Coordinate the MAEC program (Agri‑Environmental and Climate Measures)
- Participate in the department’s operational activities (agro‑environmental diagnostics, HVE certification)
- Take part in cross‑functional actions (CAP — Common Agricultural Policy, liaison with viticulture and crop production services)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Agricultural/agronomy engineering degree or Master's degree
- Valid driving license (Category B) — weekly travel to Segonzac
- Strong technical background in environment and renewable energy
- Knowledge of environmental certifications
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with other services of the Chamber of Agriculture
- Management skills and experience in project development and implementation
- Ability to monitor and manage budgets
