About the role

  • Agronomic advising
  • Support local authorities in the sustainable management of sewage sludge spreading from wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs)
  • Manage monitoring and reporting of sludge spreading for around a dozen WWTPs: coordinate field operations with local stakeholders (municipalities, farmers, and contractors), and oversee administrative and regulatory procedures
  • Ensure the preparation and regular updating of sludge spreading plans for WWTPs
  • Actively participate in projects led by the establishment's Agronomy Group and contribute to programs of the Department of Supply Chains and Production on agronomic topics
  • Develop and implement regulatory support services for farmers

Requirements

  • Diploma equivalent to Bac+2/Bac+3 or BUT in Agronomy (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of agronomy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and strong writing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the agricultural sector
  • Proficient in office software and knowledge of mapping tools such as QGIS
  • Ability to work in teams and within a network
  • Valid driving license (Category B) required
