About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, configure and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters (on-premises and/or cloud)
- Manage the lifecycle of containerized applications (deployment, scaling, rolling updates)
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for infrastructure automation
- Implement GitOps practices (Argo CD/OpenShift GitOps) and CI/CD
- Configure networking, persistent storage and security policies (RBAC, SCC, Network Policies) in OpenShift
- Monitor and optimize cluster performance (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenShift Monitoring)
- Troubleshoot incidents in critical production environments
- Document processes, architectures and operational procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to adopt DevOps/Platform Engineering practices
- Manage integration with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Execution Environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (installation, operators, cluster upgrades)
- Proficiency in Ansible (playbooks, roles, vaults, dynamic inventories)
- Advanced Linux (RHEL) knowledge — administration, shell scripting
- Experience with Kubernetes (concepts, objects, troubleshooting)
- Familiarity with containers (Podman/Docker) and registries
- Networking knowledge (DNS, load balancing, proxies, firewalls)
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
