About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, configure and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters (on-premises and/or cloud)
Manage the lifecycle of containerized applications (deployment, scaling, rolling updates)
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for infrastructure automation
Implement GitOps practices (Argo CD/OpenShift GitOps) and CI/CD
Configure networking, persistent storage and security policies (RBAC, SCC, Network Policies) in OpenShift
Monitor and optimize cluster performance (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenShift Monitoring)
Troubleshoot incidents in critical production environments
Document processes, architectures and operational procedures
Collaborate with development teams to adopt DevOps/Platform Engineering practices
Manage integration with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Execution Environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (installation, operators, cluster upgrades)
Proficiency in Ansible (playbooks, roles, vaults, dynamic inventories)
Advanced Linux (RHEL) knowledge — administration, shell scripting
Experience with Kubernetes (concepts, objects, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with containers (Podman/Docker) and registries
Networking knowledge (DNS, load balancing, proxies, firewalls)
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
