About the role
- Nurture and enhance relationships with strategic partners in top DeFi protocols.
- Understand partners' requirements, facilitate smooth product integration, and deliver exceptional account management support.
- Establish a comprehensive account management plan encompassing community engagement, DAO governance landscape, delegate outreach, product integration, and roadmap alignment.
- Undertake new business development activities to acquire DeFi protocols for Chainlink.
- Create and oversee team structure for the account management plan.
- Establish good working relationships with key stakeholders and grow product usage of existing products.
- Take user feedback to help product generate new features and products to drive user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with GTM and product teams to shape partner success and long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- 3+ Years of extensive account, new business and/ or relationship management in technical environments with experience managing large and complex accounts, and successfully engaging stakeholders at all levels and functions within organizations.
- Knowledge of web3 / blockchain technology and strong experience with DeFi (including personal hands on experience with DeFi)
- Ability to read code, hold technical conversation and navigate large-scale software development projects is highly desirable
- With Pre-sales experience, strong business acumen and experience driving commercial negotiations
- 2+ years experience working with decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, and blockchain technology.
- Able to travel 20%+
- Preferred: Hands-on development experience on web3/Defi projects
- Preferred: Strong experience dealing with DAO’s
- Preferred: Understand Solidity, Python, SQL or other programming language
