Developer Relations

• Drive Developer-Led Growth
• Partner with the Growth team to build the tools, sample apps, sign-up flows, get-started guides, and technical content that pull developers into the funnel and keep them moving through it. Your work will be measured against pipeline and adoption targets.
• Accelerate Enterprise Pipeline
• Your team will work closely with field teams to run technical workshops for high-value prospects, join customer calls on special topics, and build technical assets that give Sales leverage. You'll plan proactively with field teams each quarter to integrate DevRel into accounts' plans.
• Be the Technical Voice of the Developer
• Act as Customer Zero to test every new feature before it ships, surface friction before developers hit it, and give Product structured, actionable feedback. Your input will have a real impact on product plans for what gets built. When a security incident breaks, your team provides a credible, in-depth technical response that earns the community's trust.
• Lead and Scale the Team
• Coach and develop a team of DevRel engineers with high ownership and clear impact expectations. Set quarterly priorities in partnership with GTM and Product stakeholders. Operate transparently and with full visibility into the team’s work across the organization and reprioritize quickly in response to business needs as they arise.
• Create Compounding Leverage
• Great DevRel is force-multiplying. You’ll drive your team to build programs and content around the technical topics that platform teams and AppSec engineers care about most. Then, you’ll drive leverage by spinning off talks, blogs, videos, guides, and courses so your team's best work reaches 10x the audience it otherwise would.

Head of Developer Relations

Sales Engineer

• Enable technical teams across cloud providers, VARs/SIs, and technology partners through workshops, training programs and paths, and hands-on labs. Develop reusable partner assets including reference architectures, demos, and solution playbooks.
• Work with partners and internal teams to design secure cloud-native architectures that incorporate Chainguard into DevOps, platform engineering, and security workflows. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to bring partner integrations to life.
• Co-create partner-led services and offerings that help customers adopt Chainguard solutions. Partner closely with Sales and Partner Managers to identify deals, accelerate the sales cycle, help with adoption, and grow partner-influenced revenue across the company.
• Engage with partner technical leaders and executives to align on technical roadmaps and solution strategies. Broadcast partners' progress to field teams internally and encourage the close collaboration of Chainguard - Partner SEs for maximum joint value proposition and have a strong influence over product direction.
• Run ongoing enablement sessions, workshops, and joint technical activities to ensure partners remain engaged and capable of delivering Chainguard solutions. Initiatives to cultivate strong bonds with new and existing partners.

Senior Partner Sales Engineer

Full-stack Engineer

• Contribute to the design and implementation of the Libraries Platform: spanning the services, pipelines, and package index that power secure, reproducible build, test, and distribution workflows for libraries across multiple ecosystems (Java, JavaScript, Python/AI/ML).
• Design and maintain automation for artifact creation, updates, and verification, including vulnerability scanning, remediation workflows, SBOM and provenance generation, and policy enforcement across our library catalog.
• Build and operate shared platform services such as package indexes, registry mirrors, metadata services, and orchestration tooling that serve both external customers and internal ecosystem teams.
• Develop internal developer tools and CLIs (often in Go) that improve how we build, test, and ship libraries at scale, including integration with build systems and CI/CD for multiple ecosystems.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and observability for the Libraries platform: define SLOs, build monitoring and alerting, and lead incident response and post‑incident improvements.
• Solve complex dependency and build issues in production environments, from toolchain and compiler problems to CI/CD flakiness and registry/package index edge cases.
• Partner closely with ecosystem teams (Java, JavaScript, Python/AI/ML), Platform, Delivery, Sustaining, and Security to ensure the platform meets reliability, security, and product requirements.
• Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and hands-on debugging to help teammates move past blockers and reinforce our engineering culture in how we build and run the libraries platform.
