About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard Images, helping customers build securely with open source software across their organization
Partner with account teams, including AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support, to understand customer vision, pain points, and proposed solutions
Drive account-level strategies, value realization, and retention/growth
Test, document, and ensure Chainguard Images are high quality and provide a smooth customer onboarding experience
Partner with Product and Engineering to convey customer requirements and prioritize image builds
Maintain account-level architecture
Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization
Collaborate, teach, and learn from the Chainguard team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 4+ years of experience in a post-sales role supporting clients
8+ years of experience developing high-performance multi-tier applications
Strong experience with Kubernetes and containers
Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers to executives
Continuous learner with intellectual drive for excellence and desire to develop solutions to complex problems
At least a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
Strong working experience with software development processes and practices
Knowledge of software engineering design concepts
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Located in the Eastern Time Zone
