About the role
- Own the financial model
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve operating and cash flow models
- Translate strategic initiatives into scenarios (pricing, headcount, GTM changes)
- Stress-test assumptions and proactively surface risks and opportunities
- Evolve models as the business scales and changes
- Define and own core business and sales KPIs
- Build dashboards that leadership actively uses to make decisions
- Partner with Sales, Ops, and Finance to ensure metrics are accurate and actionable
- Continuously iterate on metrics that are not driving behavior or outcomes
- Analyze revenue, pipeline, sales efficiency, and unit economics
- Deliver clear insights on what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next
- Proactively identify trends and issues before they show up in results
- Support high-impact ad hoc analyses tied to real business decisions
- Work closely with the Head of FP&A on strategic questions
- Bring data-backed hypotheses and perspectives
- Challenge assumptions constructively
- Help drive tradeoff decisions across growth, efficiency, and cash
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role
- Experience in consulting and/or high-growth startup environments
- Exposure to sales, revenue, or GTM metrics
- Strong bias for action with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguity with imperfect data
- Decision-oriented mindset focused on outcomes, not just reporting
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
- Familiarity with planning tools such as Pigment or Anaplan
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
