About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take on a strategic and versatile role in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and high-growth environment.
- Lead complex projects related to tenders, contract negotiations and project management in facility management (CAPEX and OPEX).
- Identify optimization and bundling opportunities in line with performance and cost-reduction goals.
- Conduct market analyses and benchmarks to provide well-founded advice to network partners on category-specific issues.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders and interface partners.
- Implement, further develop and improve company-wide standards in facility services.
- Oversee supplier management and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prepare detailed expenditure and market analyses with relevant assessments.
- Collaborate closely with international teams to ensure globally consistent procurement practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 10 years of professional experience in procurement (CAPEX and OPEX) and project management, ideally in facility services and building engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- University or technical college degree with a focus on engineering or business.
- 5–7 years of experience in international procurement of facility services with responsibility for a procurement category.
- Strong passion for procurement and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in managing and developing Integrated Facility Management (IFM) models, including external service providers and SLA-based performance models.
- Proactive, adaptable and customer-oriented personality with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, particularly at senior management level.
- Creative mindset and ability to develop innovative solutions in a changing environment.
- Good knowledge of e-sourcing tools (SAP Ariba, Jaggaer) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and proven project management experience.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English; French skills are a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office.
