Head of Sourcing Technology Services

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner
- Lead the IT Technology Category as a Manager
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members
- Align team objectives with organizational goals
- Drive category strategies and sourcing initiatives (for procurement/IT contexts)
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members
- Troubleshoot complex issues and guide technical decisions
- Manage project management, resource allocation, and workload balancing
- Handle dynamic environments and unexpected challenges
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of progressive experience in sourcing and procurement within IT Category
- Expertise in categories such as IT Software, IT Hardware, and Telco
- Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and deliver measurable cost savings
- Prior leadership experience in similar roles (IT, sourcing, or technical teams)
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated success in supplier relationship management and category strategy development
- Positive energy and engagement (“can-do” attitude)
- Experience with leading-edge sourcing technologies (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, SAP, Ivalua) preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage client priorities under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or related field)
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus
