About the role
- Lead and support engineering teams delivering product and platform capabilities
- Own team health, delivery cadence and execution quality
- Ensure work is well-scoped, prioritized and sequenced in collaboration with Product and Platform leads
- Remove blockers and reduce organizational friction that slows delivery
- Establish clear expectations around ownership, accountability and outcomes
- Coach engineers through technical and professional growth
- Support hiring, onboarding and team scaling
- Foster a culture of high standards, pragmatism and continuous improvement
- Ensure teams follow agreed engineering and platform practices without heavy process
- Provide visibility into progress, risks and trade-offs without creating bureaucracy
Requirements
- Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Experience managing software engineering teams in a modern product organization
- Strong understanding of software delivery, distributed systems and platform development
- Ability to support technical decision-making without micromanaging implementation
- Experience balancing speed, quality and sustainability in fast-moving environments
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort operating in environments where priorities evolve and clarity must be actively created
- A leadership style focused on trust, clarity and accountability
