Key responsibilities & impact

Reporting to the Manager, with direction from the Registered Nurse, responsible for providing high quality, individualized basic care activities as identified by the RN
Performing basic patient care activities while addressing the physical, psycho-social and spiritual needs of the patient
Observing and reporting patient issues/concerns/problems
Contributing to the patient care process by assisting the patient in basic living activities
Supporting emergency procedures and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School graduate or equivalent, preferred
Completion of Nursing Assistant course, preferred
Minimum six months recent experience in an acute care setting preferred
Current and Valid California Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American heart Association (AHA)
Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire)
Assault Response Competency (ARC) Training (required within 30 days of hire)
