About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the research, preparation, and production of water/wastewater infrastructure design drawings using tools such as REVIT, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and related design software
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions across various water/wastewater projects such as treatment facilities, conveyance systems, and pump stations
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior designers on project drawing production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards across all deliverables
Examine complex contract documents and drawings for errors, revising as needed to align with contract specifications
Contribute to the development of technical reports, material costs, construction estimations, and production schedules for water/wastewater infrastructure projects
Conduct project review meetings and prepare project “As-Builts” documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or related technical field required
Minimum of 12 years of experience in document production within the engineering discipline required
Proficiency in discipline-based software (REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative work ethic
Expert working knowledge of engineering discipline with strong expertise in design drawing layout
Strong problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated technical proficiency
