About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop leaders and teams across Web, Lifecycle Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Mid-Funnel & Channel Programs.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performing marketing talent.

  • Own BambooHR's revenue marketing strategy and pipeline generation performance across the full customer acquisition funnel.
  • Establish forecasting rigor, pipeline management processes, and performance reporting that provide executive visibility into pipeline health, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead BambooHR's transition from a traditional inbound-led demand model to a diversified, AI-first revenue generation engine.
  • Develop and execute strategies that improve performance across mid-funnel and bottom-funnel conversion points, including nurture, outbound, partner-generated pipeline, paid media, and lifecycle programs.
  • Define and implement the organization's AI-powered demand generation strategy, leveraging emerging technologies, automation, predictive analytics, and agentic workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Sales, SDR, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, and Product leaders to improve funnel conversion, pipeline velocity, and revenue outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of modern revenue technologies and AI-enabled workflows that improve how marketing teams operate, execute, measure, and scale.
  • Establish measurement frameworks that connect marketing investment to pipeline creation, revenue impact, and long-term business growth.
  • Oversee optimization of marketing channels, programs, and investments to maximize pipeline generation and return on investment.
  • Lead development of BambooHR's future-state demand generation capabilities, including AI-mediated discovery, emerging growth channels, partner ecosystems, and scalable outbound programs.
  • Manage annual marketing investments exceeding $50M and ensure disciplined allocation of resources against company objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on pipeline performance, revenue growth strategy, AI-driven market shifts, and demand generation investments.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, experimentation, and measurable business impact across the revenue marketing organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree not required, but a plus.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in demand generation, revenue marketing, growth marketing, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading revenue marketing organizations within B2B SaaS or other high-volume B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of significant pipeline targets and measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Experience managing annual marketing investments exceeding $50M.
  • Deep expertise in modern marketing technology, revenue operations, marketing automation, attribution, analytics, and demand generation systems.
  • Demonstrated success implementing AI technologies to improve marketing performance, operational efficiency, pipeline generation, or customer acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of how AI is transforming buyer behavior, digital discovery, customer acquisition, and revenue generation.
  • Experience leading organizations through significant transformation, organizational change, and evolving market conditions.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to build alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision making.
