About the role

  • Lead a sales team of closing Partner Account Executives in the small to medium size market
  • Help your team meet revenue goals on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Analyze various data points to determine opportunities for team members’ development
  • Develop and follow a book of business strategy and go-to-market plan to target key accounts and drive growth
  • Support team members with larger deals and act as a second voice to help close deals
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast, train, and motivate team members
  • Mentor team through calls, live demos, goal setting, accountability, and overcoming client roadblocks
  • Be accountable for team behaviors and results and identify critical behaviors that lead to success
  • Build out the sales team through involvement in the hiring process

Requirements

  • 2+ years managing sales Account Executives and/or Channel/Partner Account Executives in the SaaS industry
  • 1+ years of experience as an Account Executive in the SaaS industry
  • SMB (small to medium size business) experience
  • Ability to paint a vision and get buy-in from your team of reps
  • Demonstrated collaboration, persuasion, and mentorship/coaching skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and not selfish (great attitude)
  • Proficiency and knowledge of various solution-selling methodologies and best practices
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and analytical skills
  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Ability to train, motivate, inspire, and hold others accountable
  • Coachable with ability to take and implement feedback
  • Ability to engage and communicate with reps in a positive and approachable way
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
