Providing full-time IT legal support services using various programs.
Independently developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs to support litigation environment applications.
Working on litigation support databases, associated management systems, and analytical systems.
Translating program requirements into program code.
Testing, debugging, and refining programs to process data in accordance with written specifications.
Revising programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
Developing data entry screens and other user interfaces and implementing standardized reports, and creating and generating specialized and ad hoc reports as required.
Requirements
Must be a United States Citizen
Requires substantial, hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
At least two years of directly applicable experience is required.
At least three years of overall programming experience will generally be expected, including experience with large-scale database management systems.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Undergraduate degree strongly preferred - preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
Broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server-based databases and applications.
Supervisory or team leader experience
