About the role
- Providing full-time IT legal support services using various programs.
- Independently developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs to support litigation environment applications.
- Working on litigation support databases, associated management systems, and analytical systems.
- Translating program requirements into program code.
- Testing, debugging, and refining programs to process data in accordance with written specifications.
- Revising programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
- Developing data entry screens and other user interfaces and implementing standardized reports, and creating and generating specialized and ad hoc reports as required.
Requirements
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Requires substantial, hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
- At least two years of directly applicable experience is required.
- At least three years of overall programming experience will generally be expected, including experience with large-scale database management systems.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree strongly preferred - preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
- Broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server-based databases and applications.
- Supervisory or team leader experience
- Experience in automated litigation support
