About the role

Provide database administration support for legal accounts
Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022: security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, maintenance jobs
Create and maintain databases in Clustered Server environments
Design and maintain data models, data flow, ER diagrams and schema architectures
Integrate data lakes, data warehouses and data marts within legacy infrastructure
Implement mirroring, log shipping, redundancy, high availability and backup/recovery solutions
Facilitate migration of systems into cloud infrastructure and upgrade SQL Server versions
Develop reports and setup reporting servers using SSRS; perform DBA functions and report development

Requirements

Top Secret Clearance required
Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022
Setting up security, creating tables, indexes, stored procedures
Designing SQL reports and creating maintenance jobs
Creating and maintaining databases in a Clustered Server environment
Expert knowledge of data models and their components
Working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse and data mart architectures
Metadata and data modeling, data flow, entity relationship diagrams, schema architectures
Query languages and performance optimization best practices
Mirroring, log shipping, database redundancy, high availability techniques
Full backup and recovery capabilities for Microsoft SQL Server
Experience facilitating migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
Upgrading SQL Servers from lower versions to 2019 and up
Creating reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Setting up a reporting server and performing DBA functions and report development
